Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how sbti-test.net handles information when you use the English version of the SBTI Personality Test. We keep the product lightweight, anonymous, and entertainment-focused, so the amount of data we handle is intentionally limited.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account, provide your real name, or submit an email address to take the test. Most visitors can use the site without directly identifying themselves.
When you complete the test, the site may store your result locally in your browser so you can revisit your recent personality history. This local record stays on your device unless you clear your browser storage.
When leaderboard features are enabled, the site may send a personality code, an anonymous device identifier, and related submission metadata to our backend so the ranking page can show aggregate popularity data.
2. Local Storage and Browser Data
We use browser local storage to improve the product experience. For example, your recent test results may be saved locally so the site can highlight your personality in the ranking page and show your history in the header menu.
This local storage is controlled by your browser. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings, and deleting local storage will remove your saved history from this device.
3. Analytics and Error Monitoring
We may collect anonymous analytics and frontend error information to understand product usage, measure reliability, and improve the site experience. This can include page URLs, event names, timestamps, browser signals, and technical error messages.
We use this data to debug failures, monitor performance, and understand which pages or features are being used. We do not use it to build sensitive personal profiles about you.
4. Leaderboard Submissions
If you complete a test, your result may be submitted silently to the leaderboard system so the public ranking page can show aggregate counts for each personality type.
The leaderboard is intended to reflect anonymous popularity trends rather than personal identity. We do not display your real name, email address, or account profile on the leaderboard because the product does not require those fields.
5. Third-Party Services
The site may rely on infrastructure or service providers for hosting, analytics delivery, content delivery, and error monitoring. These providers may process technical request data as part of operating the service on our behalf.
If you use sharing features such as X, Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Email, your interaction with those platforms is governed by their own privacy rules once you leave our site.
6. Data Retention
Local test history stays in your own browser until you clear it. Anonymous leaderboard or analytics records may be retained for operational, product, and abuse-prevention purposes for as long as reasonably necessary.
We try to keep retained data limited to what is useful for maintaining and improving the service.
7. Your Choices
You can stop using the site at any time. You can also clear browser storage, block cookies or local storage in your browser, or avoid using optional sharing features if you do not want that behavior.
If you do not want a result saved locally, clearing your browser storage after use will remove the saved test history from your device.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact the site operator through the contact methods published on sbti-test.net or its related project pages.
